Opening of a new exhibition on the theme of Minions!

A Minion Perspective Experience at Resorts World Sentosa opens September 3! This international traveling exhibit is based on the world’s most popular animated film franchise, Despicable Me and Minions from Illumination. ⁠There will be eight themed areas, with lots of hands-on activities and life-size characters such as the infamous The Vicious 6, Gru and Dr Nefario, the adorable girls and of course the Minions. ⁠Kids will be excited to test out the fart gun (of course) in Gru’s lab, trying out immersive goggles, designing their own Minion, and taking pictures with their favorite characters. Impressions Kids Club: indoor playground in Horsecity

Impressions Kids Club, the multi-experience indoor playground is now open at Horsecity. The Kids Club Playzone has three main areas, including an indoor play area with slides, a trampoline, obstacle courses, swings and a ball pit! There is also a nature play area with an herb and vegetable garden and every month there is a special event where the children can harvest, cut and feed carrots to the ponies in the private stables! That’s not all, there is also a sand play area, a mini pond for “kampong fishing” and a Kids Club experience area with a small spa room and a playroom with baby- football, air hockey, billiards and table tennis! Admission to the Impressions Kids Club includes a monthly activity in one of four themes: Creative, Concoction, Experiences or Discovery. Parents in a hurry, you’ll be happy to know that there’s also a drop-off option with babysitting services! Admission starts from $25 for 1 hour for non-members and note that non-slip socks are required.

Jurong Bird Park closes on January 3, 2023

Jurong Bird Park is closing on January 3, 2023, as preparations begin to move to a brand new home at Bird Paradise in Mandai Wildlife Sanctuary. From September 3, 2022 to January 3, 2023, meet for An unforgettable flight to celebrate the legacy and rich heritage of Jurong Bird Park. Explore Jurong Bird Park on a staff-curated trail, and also look forward to the launch of a signature nostalgic tour in November, where knowledgeable guides will take you through the history of the park. Reservations for the tour will open on October 19, 2022. A nostalgic dining experience will also launch in November with traditional handcarts selling local hawker dishes and carnival activities to elevate the festive spirit. We’re sad to see this bird park with the famous waterfall and free-flying birds go, but excited to see what the next chapter will bring!
