SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Juni Learning, a leading member-driven learning platform, today announced its new Clubs environment for students. Clubs are an extension of Juni’s vision to help children discover who they are and what they can become through personalized learning opportunities and experiences. Led by students, for students, clubs connect children in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can explore similar interests within a structure that allows them to go deeper and learn more than a network traditional social.

This all-new way to create and foster community among learners is built on Juni’s award-winning educational platform. The clubs extend learning beyond the classroom with daily mentorship between kids and instructors from top universities across the United States. Now students have the opportunity to explore new hobbies, learn new skills, and make new friends as part of the Juni experience.

“Clubs bring our community to life in exciting new ways by allowing kids to pursue their passions with like-minded peers and mentors,” said Vivian Shen, Co-Founder and CEO of Juni Learning. “With clubs, we give kids the platform, the tools, and the mentorship to share what they love, but our students are the leaders. Together they learn from each other and inspire each other.

Place to discover

The clubs began as a collaboration between Juni leaders, instructors, students, and parents as Juni doubled down on its mission of discovery and helping children find their way in life. This mission has become even more important as school curricula often lack space to teach children the practical skills they need or fail to nurture their interests beyond a superficial level.

“There are hundreds of schools out there and it’s hard to know at 16 or 17 what you want your future to look like,” said Swathi, Juni instructor, club mentor and student at UC Berkeley. “I’m excited to give students more information about things like the college application process, choosing majors, and the college experience.”

To develop learning experiences that matter to children and their parents, Juni made an open call, asking what activities and hobbies they were most passionate about, as well as how they wanted to interact with each other. others. Over 60 students have volunteered to lead clubs and share their interests and talents with the wider Juni community. Their enthusiasm for the Clubs was clear from the start.

“Hearing that I could discuss something I love with others was just a dream come true for me,” said Grayson, student club manager. “And when I found out I was a club manager, what more could you ask for? I am excited to begin !

To date, nearly 1,000 Juni Learners have contributed their ideas to the initial design of Juni Clubs, submitting new ideas and voting for the clubs they want. These early testers and group leaders worked with Juni instructors who volunteered as mentors to build projects and come up with events, activities, and agendas. Students even created TikTok videos advertising their clubs to entice others to join. At launch, kids can find clubs that span interests from art and film to saving the earth, self-investment, artificial intelligence, debating, and doing good deeds. The clubs offer something for everyone.

“I saw my son give his best during the club orientation meeting. He was sharing ideas, spending time with new friends and was so excited about what lay ahead,” said Laurie Mala, Juni’s parent. “Juni has really thought of everything to make the Clubs a wonderful outlet for children. The team has created an environment in which parents can also trust.
