It’s a photo-heavy edition of Fresh Goods Friday this week. We hope your broadband connection or cellular data network can handle it!

Hopefully the photos speak for themselves, as our fingers are pretty worn after a busy week of event reports, new bike launches, magazine articles and millions of email conversations.

Still, nice to be busy init? Forward with the Ef Gee Effing…

Congratulations to the Lionesses

Trek Fuel EXe 9.9 XX1 AXS

Directly on the hills

Hey look, this is the most important bike of the decade. Why is that? Because x 5. Anyway, normally we try to wait a bit to get new pictures of bikes ready to use in FGF but… well, we were looking forward to getting out on this bike ! So a few smartphone photos of a lightly splashed bike will have to do the trick.

First impressions? Trek nailed what it intended with this bike. Whether we’re okay with what they’ve got planned, you’ll have to wait for next week’s First Ride review.

Quite frequently at ST Towers we get test bikes where we find the front end feels a bit low. Especially on size L and XL bikes. So we approached the suppliers of our favorite handlebars – Burgtec – to kindly supply us with a set of low front solutions. And here it is: Ride High Josh Bryceland Signature alloy handlebar (38mm rise), Enduro MK3 35mm stem (35mm length) and carbon stem spacer set. Thank you Burgtec buds! No more going over bars or tucking in the front for us.

If that wasn’t enough, the Hazzard features a handy low-speed compression switch that firms up the shock tremendously for sustained climbs and stage transfers – where saving power is paramount.
