The end of an era is fast approaching. Duke’s Coach Mike Krzyzewski will practice its final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday (6 p.m. EST, ESPN) against North Carolina. The legendary coach, more simply known as Coach K, will have dozens of former players in attendance, including former star goalkeeper Jay Williams.

“It’s surreal to me,” Williams said on To get up. “I haven’t, obviously we’ve done so many things, I haven’t really focused on what it’s going to be like for me to be in this arena. I’ve won 95 of those games that the coach K (won), my record was 95-13 in my three years, three ACC championships, one national championship number, the No. 1 seed every year. Grant Hillhaving JJ Redick be there, I don’t know if Kyrie Irving will be there, Sion Williamson we are all coming back, this fellowship is going to be a very moving moment. Because it’s so much bigger than basketball for him. This is how people will remember his legacy, but the way he affected all of our lives as players is something that can never be taken away from us and will be with us for the rest of our lives.”

Krzyzewski has been Duke’s head coach since 1980. Saturday’s game against the Tar Heels will be the 97th game Krzyzewski has coached against North Carolina in his career, and he improved his record against the Tar Heels to 50 -46 with an 87 -67 win on the road earlier this year.

“I think it’s going to be all night,” ESPN analyst Seth Greenberg say it The Paul Finebaum Show. “And I said that to Jay Bilas the other day; I think what’s going to hit Coach – you look up and you see the banners, you see the great players, you see the Final Fours, you see the championships It’s one thing. He’s going to look in the face, he’s going to look behind his bench, where his former players will be and there’s going to be 70 to 100 former players. And they’re going to be with their families. They’re not going to be no longer children, they will become adults. I think knowing Mike as I know him, he will watch this and it will be more emotional than anything else.

Duke is currently 26-4 overall and 16-3 in the ACC. The Blue Devils clinched the ACC regular season title for the first time since 2010. The Blue Devils are also looking to clinch a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament this year.

Krzyzewski has more wins (1,196) than any coach in college basketball history. Williams wondered if Krzyzewski could really handle being away from the game he loves so much.

“I think it’s very similar to Tom Bradysaid Williams. “Every time I hear Tom Brady talk, like you’re always wondering, ‘Like, are you sure about Tom?’ And I feel like there really is no hobby for Coach K. He doesn’t like to play golf. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, his family and (his wife) Mickie. I’m sure he can do a lot of things. … He’s still going to be in the program a ton. “
